The pastor’s compassion for members through congregational care outreach should be genuine, consistent, and caring.

Superior organizational and interpersonal management skills are necessary as our spiritually mature pastor seeks to lead and collaborate with employees and members toward the agreed-upon vision. Experience in strategic planning and leading a church our size is beneficial as well.

This is a part time student pastor position in Vinings/Smyrna area. Working/leading middle school and high school students. We are a progressive nondenominational church just 20 minutes from campus. Sundays only for teaching.

The Director of Student Ministry provides collaborative leadership to middle and high school ministries of WHPC to help students experience and make faith in Christ connect with their everyday life. Youth Minister/Minister to Students - Atlanta, GA

Peachtree Christian Church seeking a talented and engaged Christian leader for its student ministries. An ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation yet have deep respect for tradition. They will be a capable communicator of the Bible and will be approachable for teens and their families. We are seeking someone who can help the middle school and high school students take leadership of the ministry with guidance, wisdom, and care. Historically, this position has provided oversight to a performing arts ministry, so someone who can lead in that area is a plus. But if theatre or musical skills are not part of their gift mix, then the ability to work with, recruit, and train volunteers in the performance arts ministries would be required. The position is part time taking place mostly on Sundays, though there will be retreats, mission trips, etc. as well as engagement in weekly staff meetings.

As the solo pastor of a small church, our prospective pastor should expect to provide traditional, Biblically-based preaching & teaching along with administration of the Sacraments of the Church. Effective communication with our congregation should be provided via in person contact,telephone,text,email,& through our weekly newsletter & website. Other tasks & assignments include, but are not limited to: Moderating Session,developing relationships with congregants, providing counseling, visiting  homebound/hospitalized &offering Communion opportunities to those members, assisted by a member of session. We seek a pastor who will provide loving & genuine pastoral care to those experiencing significant life events/crisis, etc. Our pastor should be involved with the committees of the church to provide guidance & to assist in goal/strategy setting related to church affairs.  Finally, it is our wish that our pastor become immersed in our community, dedicated to growing our congregation, participative & active in our Presbytery, & is committed to lead our congregation & community through a Christian example.

Plan, particpate, recruit, and equip leaders for weekly youth programs.  Plan and organize confirmation for 9th graders, Plan and participate in summer trips, plan and participate in overnight weekend fellowship activities, plan and organize Youth Sunday, serve as a multi-pastor team to include rating hospital coverage, Day School Chapel, regular meetings with staff and senior pastor, participate in weekly worship, preach on occasion, and conduct weddings, baptisms, and funerals when requested.
